Tanzania, a very rewarding experience

We were met at the Kilimanjaro airport by our driver/guide, Oscar, who was with us every day until he drove us back to Kilimanjaro for our return flight home.

Oscar, brought our luggage us to our compound and explained our lodging and that he would meet us after breakfast for our first safari. There was fresh flowers in our room and fresh flowers on all the tables. We topped at a gift shop on the way to Lake Manyara National Park.

Our driver explained all that we saw. Because we were interested in all animal, and trees Oscar was very knowledgeable and patient with us. We stopped many times as he pointed out a wild animal, bird or plant and we took lots of photos. Oscar did not continue our journey until each of us had taken all the pictures we said OK to continue. We saw so many wildlife... elephants, giraffes, leopards, antelopes, zebras, hippos, ostriches, gazelles, cape buffaloes, warthogs and many more in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park.

All the food was not only plentiful but delicious as it is all very fresh and will sassy any palate. Our driver, Oscar made us feel very comfortable and kept us entertained with his knowable of the area and customs of the people. The entire Tanzania was a very rewarding experience. A vacation that was more than expeced.
